RARE ENDANGERED SPECIES OF BULGARIAN BAT
Bulgaria also has bats, these photos are of a bat with horns and sharp teeth!
This Bulgarian bat was living inside one of my house bricks. We only knew there was a bat, when a wall had to be knocked down and during the demolition work, this bat fell with the bricks.
The bat was carefully lifted out of the rubble and after a photo shoot to bring you the photos of this bat, it was released back into the wild! the bat flew off into another part of the house, no doubt to find a new brick to sleep in.
This is a bat with horns that was living in my wall
There is a bat sanctuary cave nearby, the bats dwell there in dark peace and are highly protected
Do bats have teeth? Yes!

Bat with horns and sharp teeth in Bulgaria
Maybe one day it will make another appearance during the day Howevers, for now, it is finding a new brick to make its home in, as I, unintentionally, broke its previous home
I have since learned that these bats are a rare and protected bat in Bulgaria!
Nearby in the depths of the Rhodope mountains there is a bat sanctuary, and I visited the sanctuary!
Also, this bat, along with its batty partner, were set free to rehouse themselves in another part of the barn that was not demolished 😉
the pair of mating endangered bats are still around, they survived the demolition work and have rehoused themselves in another part of me little barn!
can be seen out hunting at night, strange call they have too, which I cannot spell 🙂
not sure if this species of Bat makes a peep peep peep intermittent noise, similar to that of a house fire alarm when it’s running out of batteries, but currently i have such an intermittent noise going on inside my barn, just can’t seem to locate where its coming from 🙂
