Plus 2 Bulgarian Pigeons! These birds really enjoy Bulgarian nature at it's best.

The birds of Bulgaria
The day I saw these birds down by the river, I spotted a flock of multi-coloured birds resembling small parrots! Alas I was driving at the time, I will try to catch some photos of them, plus what looks like zebra birds! Revisit the birds of Bulgaria as I take more photos of the strange birds around!
The birds of Bulgaria - a bit of bird spotting in Bulgaria
Spotting these Bulgarian birds down by the river has become a daily event.
Although I am unsure the name of these birds, they are beautiful and you can get up quite close before the birds take flight to fly away.
I captured photos of these
two pigeons nesting high up at a house
in a small Bulgarian village cooing to each other!

BIRD SPOTTING with the BIRDS OF BULGARIA
BIRD SPOTTING with the BIRDS OF BULGARIA
I have heard and seen eagles soaring high and other birds of prey as soon as I capture a photo of one of these elegent hunters I will post it here! I have also heard screech owls in the night but alas my camera
couldn't capture that kind of photo. Wagtails are abundant as are barn owls. I have also spotted what looks like Robins, although they look larger than our Robins, they do have lovely red breasts!
Pictures of Robin red breast now on!
There are many birds in Bulgaria, we need a good bird spotter to come and identify all these birds for us and increase this page of photos for you to enjoy any volunteers?!
