The cats n kittens of Bulgaria plus a rare ginger Siamese/Sphinx cat look alike nursing mother cat with her two ginger kittens
The amazing cats n kittens of Bulgaria having to perform to be fed! The wild cats and kittens of Bulgaria look in very good condition and Bulgarians keep cats as beloved pets and as a feline rat deterrent. A mother nursing her two kittens was proudly handed to me in a box to take home. The nursing mother, a rather rare red head, ginger females are apparently quite rare! Her two kittens have chosen to stay with us, however the nursing mother decided to stay for a couple of weeks then to find her own way back to where she came from! The mother has been bought back to us on many occassions but I feel she is ready to produce some more kittens, which no doubt will be bought up to us! Her kittens are two gorgeous ginger boys glorious red heads, one has been named Splat as you can notice in these photos, he has a splat of paint on one ear, the other kitten has been called Grub, because his ginger fur is a grubby colour!
The two other sets of kittens, the black and white and the grey tabby cat, were rescued by other English Expats two kitty cats praying! see below!
Mother cat caught a mouse for her kittens to eat, I managed to capture only the centre photo of the remains as the kittens eagerly ate the mouse! The other photos are of mummy who caught a bird but her kids were out playing so she ate it herself!
This very regal almost Siamese or Sphinx looking mother cat is posing like the cat that lapped the cream! She is a very loving and good mother although she is very young herself. She let her kittens feed until they fell asleep in utter contentment, she has produced two very loving kittens always seen playing together
