PRAYING MANTIS

Close up photos of the Bulgarian Praying Mantis, these close up photos taken of the Bulgarian praying mantis, although oftentimes known as they preying mantis, it makes no odds, this mantis has huge teeth and gripping claws to kill its prey and stalks elegantly.

This lovely praying mantis was chilling out in my Basil bush as I poured water over the bush, it rushed out before it got completely soaked.

I took many photos and here's two pages of some of them. I have reduced the quality of the photos to allow them to load fast for you.

Enjoy this beautiful Praying Mantis of Bulgaria bite back!

I will soon be posting some new photos of these fantastic creatures of Bulgaria!

Bulgarian Wildlife nature at it's very best!
WILDLIFE in Bulgaria is full creepy crawlies, this one is straight off an alien film! Preying in my basil bush and giving us guilty looks and showing its vicious teeth and formidable pincers! This truly is one of Bulgaria's best creatures! But does the praying mantis bite humans? These close up photos show a mean set of teeth on the mantis, but its head is so small that the teeth are not large enough neither can the mouth open wide enough to bite a human, although they can give a nasty pinch, but hey, why would anyone wish to taunt a praying mantis into giving them a pinch! Look but don't touch!
