The photo of the spider here is a close up macro. The spider itself is relatively small, at first I thought it had got hold of a blackberry, until I realised the size of the spider and that it was holding a bag of spider eggs!
Another spider was busy wrapping up its freshly caught and still alive prey!
This time a fly, later in the evening its prey was a mosquito sorry no photos!
A very cute character is only a teeny spider the photos are of the spider on the dashboard of my car, the speckles around the spider... is dust!
as for the spider that was very well camoflauged, we almost missed this one! It was quite a shy spider who stopped to pose for a second for the camera!
Plus another very lovely spider not only posed for ages to have his photo taken, but assumed the best position to do his job as one of our many resident fly catchers!
