Spiders adore mosquitoes, and seeing as mosquitoes love to feast on the blood of a human host, they will be quickly caught in a spiders web, wrapped up by the spider to become the spiders feast for later. Personally, I dont ever break up a spiders web for the sake of cleaning house! The spiders clean my home better than I can!

There is a 2000 year old myth that Jesus was saved by a spider who spun its web over the entrance to the cave he was dwelling in. When they tried to look into the cave it was decided that the spiders web had been there for quite some time and that the cave wasn't worthy of a viewing!

There are also many myths regarding teeny spiders being the bringers of good luck, specifically little spiders bring you money. Well they cant if you kill them.

Spiders eat flies that would otherwise be sicking on your food and in your coffee and they do love a mosquito or ten too!

This superb yellow n black backed striped spider was performing tricks for us while posing as a whopper hamburger! A nice backward flip followed by hanging upside down! What a poser eh!

Arachnaphobia Bulgaria is full of upside down hanging spiders, all busy doing their daily jobs of clearing your house of mosquitoes and other flying bugs! We seem to have a deep routed fear of spiders yet these elegant creatures do not harm us, they just wish to eat the things that bite us! ANIMALS & FLYING BUGS of BULGARIA!
There are reports coming in of a huge black spider that carries its white eggs on its back! There are pictures on this site of a black spider with a group of spiders eggs here. As soon as I have photos of this awsome spider I will post them here! Photos of the spiders prey freshly wrapped alive!
