Stingray n rodent - A huge rock formation resembling a stingray rises up out of the bushes, it seems to be protecting some form of rodent under its chin! Perhaps its a guinea pig, hamster, gerbil or a baby stingray! We also caught sight of Yoda hiding in the Bulgarian Bush! (below) On the other side of the road was a tortoise immortalised in stone! And one morning we awoke to the sounds of a very busy Bulgarian Woodpecker! Woody Woodpecker!

This sweet woodpecker was quite close to the house, the photos were taken throo the window as I didn't wish him to fly away before getting a shot or two!
